A Year in Photos

Looking through my news posts over the last year reminds me how I have been spending my time. In January I went with friends to Rockaway Beach music festival at Butlins in Bognor Regis. I have taken photos of places I visited, exhibitions I have seen and when I go out on my regular Kent walks with my friends. I visited exhibitions in London, Margate and Folkestone and had an adventurous holiday in Albania for a friend’s birthday in June. I have documented demonstrations in support of Palestine, Unity and anti-racism events as well as protests to end violence against women.
I documented Harriet Sims production of ‘Canopy’, a performance spectacle in Clowes Wood, which was ‘aiming to help put some outdoor magic back in our lives’. There was another great Whitstable Carnival on a sunny August day. The Whitstable Rocks Oyster Festival and Sadie Hennessy’s ‘Blessing of the Beasts’ both happened in September. Last month my New Zealand news post was a reminder to renew my passport for new adventures in 2025.
