All Change

Whitstable shops, cafes and pubs are reopening with outside space and outdoor heaters proving to be popular. Local barbers and charity shops are busy as is Herne Bay Pier funfair. I enjoyed a walk in Selling where a circular route across the golf course and fields ends back at The Sondes Tearoom.

Sadly, things are not so good for our local mental health charity Revival who were recently evicted from their café premises at the Horsebridge Arts centre. An awareness and fundraising event was held last Saturday and shared widely in local media and was supported by author Julie Wassmer, Suggs from Madness and potter Keith Brymer – Jones.
