Distance Walks in Lockdown

Although life is strange, I am fortunate to be living within easy walking distance to supermarkets, bakeries and greengrocers which hard working staff are keeping open, with social distance markers in place.
I take different walking or cycling routes every day to the sea – along with many others as the roads are eerily quiet!
My self challenge is to focus on two ongoing photography projects, Social Distance Walks and Textures.
It is heartening to witness people in our road who are supporting and cheering and clapping for our carers and the NHS workers who also saved my life. Many friends are NHS heroes working in health, residential settings, care and community services and it seems to be only now that many of these tireless, often underpaid workers are being recognised.
