Kew Royal Botanic Gardens and UNESCO World Heritage Site, has the most diverse collection of living plants in the world. The Victorian Palm House and the Temperate House with its rare and threatened species of plants was a bit of a challenge in the heat with masks on! Kew is helping fight climate change and biodiversity loss with 2 in 5 plants estimated to be under threat. Simon Gudgeon’s Leaf Spirit Sculpture conveys the peace of being surrounded by trees and nature and it’s stunning beauty was a fitting end to the day.
