Land and Sea

Living in Whitstable we have easy access to the beach and great sea views. Colours vary as the weather and the seasons change. You can walk for miles along the coast and we are also fortunate to be close to the Countryside. A group of my friends like exploring different places and a few weeks ago we went on a circular woodland walk past Sharsted Court manor house, near the village of Newnham.

This week Katrina Brown at Beacon House was hosting local artists to display and exhibit their work. On Monday she organised a fund raiser for the RNLI. The ‘Walpole Bay Dippers’ and friends went in the sea for a quick swim and were then given hot drinks afterwards! Lots of visitors came along and gave generous donations to support the RNLI.
