Exploring, investigating, recording and telling stories are at the heart of my motivation in creating series of photographs that link together in mood, content and tone. Absorbing my environment, I try navigating different ways of thinking and seeing as part of an evolving journey. I don’t always have fixed preconceptions about what I am looking for at the beginning.

Visiting photography and art exhibitions is a way of conducting research, experimenting with ways of recording information and developing a visual strategy using ambiguity rather than dictating what a photograph means.

It is challenging, but I love a challenge…
