Whitstable to Bognor Regis

Whitstable shops make a big effort to decorate their windows to make the high street a colourful and inviting place to visit over  the Christmas holidays. The large tree by the RNLI Whitstable Lifeboat station near the harbour, is created from fishing nets, crab cages, buoys, and lights.Whitstable is busy with people of all ages out and about and enjoying spending time in town or walking along the seafront.
Over the last few years in early January, with a few of my friends we have gone to Rockaway Beach music festival at Butlins in Bognor Regis. Tickets for the event always sell out as soon as they are released, as it’s a great way to start the New Year. Headline bands this year were Arab Strap, Spiritualised, Hamish Hawk, Georgia and Left Field. Along with other festival visitors, we walk into town on the Saturday morning and observe how the high street has changed over the last year.
